Michelle is a thoughtful GP with a background in emergency medicine and critical care. She's calm under pressure and thorough in everyday care, consulting in English and Mandarin. She is on maternity leave from 27 June 2026.
About Dr Gao
Michelle completed her medical degree at Western Sydney University and a Master of Medicine in Critical Care, and worked in emergency medicine (including at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital) before moving into general practice. That background gives her a calm, careful approach and a sharp eye for the things that matter.
She enjoys the continuity of family medicine and building long-term relationships with her patients. Dr Gao is on maternity leave from 27 June 2026. A return date has not been confirmed.
